My review of Rimmel London Sun Shimmer Self-Tan Mousse

Image
Hey!!! So if you don't know me I love my Tan! What girl doesn't! I just hate being pale. Plus being a Redhead am super pale which I HATE!! I feel tan makes me feel better and makes me feel slim! I know how sad can I be!! I could come in from work at 12 and just stick some tan on, which I might do tonight!! My partner does say to me, Aoife WHY are you putting tan on? Are we going somewhere lol!! I can't do sun beds I just don't get a natural colour my skin is to fair I just burn! Most redheads can't stand being out in the sun whereas I freaking LOVE the sun!!  Anyway I've been using tan since a young age and get spray tans often!! The past month I've been using the Rimmel London Sun Shimmer self tan mousse in the shade medium I didn't want to try the dark as I've never used this product!!  This tan has been a hit and miss with me. First of all it goes on so well and drys super quick. It develops within an hour but I tend to always apply my...

Mother's Day Gift Ideas from LittleWoods

Image
Hey!! So since its Mother's Day the 26th March why not do a small blog about Gift ideas. All the items I have picked are from the Wonderful Little-Woods. I decided not to do a budget on these items so some are quiet pricey. But what the hell us Mammy's deserve to be spoiled. First up are these beautiful Handbags two are from V By Very and this brand is amazing I've two bags already from them and I love them. They are the same bag just different colours, and there's pom poms on them. Both are only €42.   Next up is my favourite pick. This floral bag from Fiorelli is €90. Who doesn't love anything personalised. This cut heart vase costs €50 and its just beautiful for any mammy. Another personalised item is this footprint heart and name necklace costing €67. I think this would be the ideal first mothers day pressie.  All the items I have picked are from Littlewoods and they have a section just for Mother's day with lots of be...

My Hair Routine

Image
Hey!! So as you can tell from the heading this is my hair routine. I've been trying out the new L'oreal Paris Anti-Dandruff Shampoo. This is such a big deal for me to try new products espically as I've the most sensitive scalp EVER!! Its the worse feeling ever when you try something new and your scalp gets super sore. Along with the sensitivie scalp I tend to get dandruff with it. And dandruff to me is so embarrassing as I feel I have flakes on my clothes or sticking out of my hair that people notice. Which isn't the case. Anyway I've been using Head&Shoudlers pretty much since 2004 which was the only product I could use until 3weeks ago. I seen a Blooger had up the new L'oreal Paris Anti-Dandruff Shampoo along with their NEW 1min exfoliating SCRUB for your scalp YES a scrub for your scalp!! To me Dandruff is dry dead skin so why not scrub my scalp like I do to my body.    So when I applied the scrub to my scalp it seemed like a mint feeli...

My Six Favourite Brow Products

Image
Hey!!! Throughout the years eyebrows have certianly made a fashion/beauty statement. In the 1950's Audrey Hepburn was embracing her fuller brows. And the beauitful Marilyn Monroe showing of her arch in the brow. Then in the 1960's eyebrows became thin and had no shape. And if we skip to 2000's brows were not filled in and were just natural.     For years I have over plucked mine where i was left with no hair at the bottom and missing some hair at the front. Plus as I am a redhead my brows were fair and you could never see them.  Now I can't go anywhere without my brows being filled. I get them wax and tinted at least 3/4weeks I never touch them.   This picture is of me on my Debs in 2008 NO BROWS!! They weren't a thing back then and they were so badly plucked. It took me a year to get the brow hair to grow back. And these are my beauitful Brows now.        Here...

Full face using Flormar Products

Image
Hey!!! So my day-to-day look never really changes apart from my foundation, I am by no means a make-up artist I'm just your average Mammy who likes to look after herself. To start off, I prime my face with Flormar's best selling Illuminating Primer. This primer is by far the best I've ever used. I've been using this primer for at least 2 years and its the only primer I own. I think I've two full bottles in my press. At only €9.95 your certainly not breaking the bank. Next up is Flormar's New Anti-Blemish Foundation in 05 Soft Beige. This is the colour I use when wearing Tan. I love the coverage this foundation gives and how long lasting it is. I've wore this make-up for at least 12hrs and I never had to touch it up. It's oil free so its suitable for combination to oily skin. It costs €11.95. To set my foundation I use Flormar's Loose Powder in shade 04 Beige Sand. I gently pat this over my foundation to take away any shine I may have in m...
